Note: If you are installing on a 2010-11Macbook Pro or Macbook Air you must use Vmware Fusion or Parallels and it must be SP3, Bootcamp does not work properly for this installation.

I noticed Trinity's "external website" while looking for XP on Amazon. It's the best price anywhere, and I took their word for it that I could install it on any PC (even though it is Dell OEM). It worked just fine on my custom-built PC (running Intel motherboard, i7 cpu, SSD...just use IDE in BIOS and make sure you have the latest BIOS update.
